weber.floor 4160

Quickly ready for covering and high-flow cement-based underlay mortar for thicknesses 1 - 30 mm
Water demand:
max. 5 liters / 25 kg
Storage:
The product can be stored for at least 6 months in its original unopened packaging if kept dry and protected from moisture.
Fields of application
weber.floor 4160 is used as bonded self-levelling topping screed mortar via the manual or mechanical application for thin-layer warm water underfloor heating systems (bonded systems) with a covering of heating elements by at least ≥ 10 mm. Ideal for levelling works on large surfaces. It forms a sound, even, smooth and load-bearing substrate for all common flooring materials, whenever a rapid covering is requested.
For use indoors.
Main features
- EMICODE EC 1PLUS: very low emission of volatile substances
- CE marking: CT - C35 - F7 (EN 13813)
- fits well with machine application
- high flow performance
- resistant under chair castors (in accordance with EN 12529), when used in a layer thickness ≥ 1 mm under flooring materials
- high surface resistance strength
- cost-effective for large areas
- quickly ready for overlay with flooring materials
- best suited for pouring on thin-layer warm water underfloor heating systems (bonded systems)
- suitable for shear-resistant parquet bonding, when used in a layer thickness ≥ 2 mm under floor coverings
General notes
- Assess the levelling requirements beforehand.
- For application on floating constructions and heated screeds, all walls and upstands (pillars, columns, etc.) within the floor should be separated with an 8-mm thick insulation foam strip; it must reach downwards from the substrate up to the upper edge of the final floor covering.
- The final surface must receive a covering and is not allowed to be left without.
- If used as a heating screed, request information for tailored-made (special) solutions.
- In case of doubt regarding the application, substrate or special structural features, request technical advice.
- Do not add any foreign substances during mixing and application.
Special notes
- Limits of use: only use indoors.
- Mechanical application is only possible in a layer thickness ≥ 1 mm.
- When gluing solid wood planks, large-size strip parquet (> 30 cm) or solid parquet with a considerable risk of dimensional change, an intermediate primer with the reactive resins weber.floor 4718 R (PU-based) or weber.floor 4712 (EC 1) (EPbased) must always be applied. The above-mentioned wooden floor coverings are then glued with the 2-comp. PU adhesive weber.floor 4838.
