Renovation of listed cultural building in keeping with the guidelines

Extensive renovation work has been carried out on the historic synagogue in Görlitz over several years. Since 2021, the building, which was built in 1911, is once again a place of encounter. The masonry was protected against moisture penetration, among other things, in order to preserve the building structure in the long term.

For this purpose, the cultural monument with a partial basement was waterproofed with the 2-component reactive thick coating weber.tec Superflex D 24. On top of this, the skilled craftsmen applied a mineral watertight render and a subsequent horizontal barrier (cross-sectional waterproofing of masonry against rising damp).
