Storage:
The product can be stored for at least 12 months in its original unopened packaging if kept dry and frost-free. Frost will destroy the liquid component. After thawing it is not allowed to be used.

Fields of application

weber Anschlussdicht is used as universal waterproofing with a wide range of applications for all works around windows, in the facade socket areas or for bonding insulation boards in the pre-said areas.
For waterproofing, window sills in the connection areas to the frame and reveal.
In combination with the watertight foil weber.sys 982 and/or the watertight self-bonding foil weber.sys 982 SK, the product is ideally suited as a second waterproofing layer under window sills or as an adhesive for natural and artificial stone window sills.
Also, as moisture protection for socket render systems; it can be covered by render or be painted over.

General notes

• All characteristics mentioned in this data sheet are based on a temperature of 23 °C, without draught and a relative humidity rate of 50%.
• In case of sunshine, carry out waterproofing works in shadow or in the morning or evening hours.
• Do not bond protective boards or insulation boards and do not fill the excavation pit until the material has not completely dried.
• Prior to backfilling the excavation pit use the drainage mat weber.sys 983 over the basement walls in order to protect the waterproofing system.
• Comply with the national standards and/or guidelines; if not issued, and if requested, refer to the norm DIN 18533 “Waterproofing of Ground-contacting Building Structures”, the “Guideline for Planning and Execution of Waterproofing Works with Polymer-Modified Bitumen Coatings (PMBC)”, the “Guideline for Planning and Execution of Waterproofing of Ground contacting Building Structures with Flexible Polymer-Modified Thick-Layer Waterproofing Coatings (FPD)” and the WTA leaflet 4-6 “Retrospective Waterproofing of Groundcontacting Structures” (WTA = International Association for Science and Technology of Building Maintenance and Monuments Preservation). If in doubt, request technical advice.
• After full drying of the last waterproofing layer weber Anschlussdicht can be painted over preferably with silicone resin paints (for ex. weber.ton 411 AquaBalance) or silicate paints (for ex. weber.ton 410 AquaBalance).
• If a render is planned on top of weber Anschlussdicht on the external socket parts of the facade, apply the normal-setting stipple coat weber.san 160 WTA full-surface as bonding layer on the fully dry waterproofing layer.

Special notes

• Do not add any foreign substances during mixing and application.
• The consumption figures given in this document will increase if the applicator lacks experience. In addition, the figure for the scratch layer of 1.0 - 1.5 kg/m² depending on the substrate roughness must be taken into account.
