Fields of application

weber.floor 4046 is used as bonded patching and smoothing mortar on several horizontal substrates via manual application. It is used for filling minor recesses, trowel marks, broken or uneven parts, for closing joints and connection parts and for patching floor rails. Also, convenient for small floor surfaces. After a very short hardening time, it forms a sound, even and smooth substrate for all common floor coverings.

General notes

• Assess the levelling requirements beforehand.
• For application on floating constructions and heated screeds, all walls and upstands (pillars, columns, etc.) within the floor should be separated with an 8 mm thick insulation foam strip; it must reach downwards from the substrate up to the upper edge of the final covering.
• The final surface must receive a covering and cannot be left without.
• Higher temperatures shorten, whilst lower temperatures extend the pot life.
• In case of doubt regarding the application, substrate or special structural features, request technical advice.

Special notes

• Limits of use: do not use outdoors and on floating constructions (on separating menbranes or on insulation boards).
• Do not add any foreign substances during mixing and application.
