The winners who dared to go off-road

On November 20, the time had finally come: 35 winners gathered at Land Rover’s 17-hectare off-road terrain to take on 25 driving challenges in state-of-the-art off-road vehicles. Under the guidance of experienced instructors,  the participants tackled tasks such as driving through waist-deep water, mastering inclines of up to 100%, navigating extremely rough terrain and stacking multi-part pyramids using attached ropes. The off-road day was defined by high tension, sweaty palms and loads of fun for everyone involved, who had to demonstrate courage and driving skills above all else. These intense experiences were discussed at length during the joint lunch and dinner. The participants also appreciated the networking aspect of the event, as in-depth professional discussions were an intended part of the programme.

Full speed ahead

"The roadshow enabled us to build and strengthen valuable relationships with our professional installer customers – direct contact is significant to us. The participants clearly enjoyed themselves, and our sales colleagues were able to deepen these relationships on a personal level," explains Thomas Schriegel, Head of Customer Marketing and Communication at Weber. "Especially in view of our realignment toward construction chemicals, it was important for us to seek contact with our customers and engage in dialogue actively."
