weber.tec Superflex OS 5b
Surface protection system OS 5b
weber.tec Superflex OS 5b is highly flexible, 2-component, reactive quick-setting surface protection coating (OS-5b) and flexible polymer-modified thick-layer waterproofing coating (FPD)
Product uses
- as protection system coating OS-5b
- as waterproofing coating on socket areas
- as waterproofing of earth-contacting building parts
Product benefits
- cold-flexible up to -20°C
- resistant to thawing salts
- quick-setting and resistant to water pressure
Fields of application
As a cold-flexible OS-5b surface protection coating according to EN 1504-2.
Also as chloride and carbonation protection of concrete building parts in building construction and civil engineering.
For new constructions and renovation works of non-trafficable areas, e.g. underground garages, parking decks and other interior and exterior building components exposed to splash water and thawing salts.
Furthermore, for the flexible waterproofing of socket areas and earth-contacting building parts (basement walls, foundations etc.) on concrete, cement render, brickwork and blockwork, according to DIN 18533. It is dedicated to the case of ground damp and non-pressure water (class of water load W1-E) and the cases of splash water and horizontal barrier against capillary water in and under walls of socket areas (class of water load W4-E).
Main features
- EMICODE EC 1 PLUS: very low emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC)
- combines the advantages of FPD with those of a surface protection system OS-5b
- fulfills the test principles for FPD (flexible polymer-modified thick-layer waterproofing coatings) with crack-bridging class R2-E
- fulfills the test principles for surface protection system OS-5b according to EN 1504-2
- crack-bridging up to 0.5 mm
- weather-independent drying through a reactive setting within 24 hours
- can be overworked on walls after 120 minutes at +23°C and 50% rel. humidity rate
- can be covered with render or paint
- can be applied by spraying machine (with peristaltic pump technology or screw pump technology)
- high percentage of dry residue of approx. 95%
- high pull-off strength
- high brake effect against CO₂
- open to the diffusion of water vapour
- as waterproofing of mineral substrates
- for use indoors and outdoors
