Fields of application
weber.cal 172 is used indoors and outdoors, on new and old render bases to produce a single coat render or base coat. All mineral final coats, solvent-free paints from Weber and tiles can be applied to weber.cal 172.

General notes
- Do not mix with other substances during mixing and application.
- The air temperature, the used materials and the surface must not fall below +5 °C during application and drying.
- Fresh plastered surfaces must be protected from direct sunlight, strong wind or moisture.
- Application and execution in accordance with DIN 18 350 VOB/C and DIN 18 550.
- Consumption figures refer to the minimum layer thickness and may vary depending on the surface and application. Exact consumption values must be determined by testing areas on the object.
- Adjacent components must be separated from the plaster system.
- Remove the sintered layer before applying further layers.
- weber.cal 172 is subject to continuous quality control through self-monitoring in accordance with DIN EN 998-1.
Special notes
- weber.cal 172 is suitable indoors as a laying base for tiles with a total weight of thin layer masonry mortar and tiles of 35 kg/m².
