Designer loft in the former pumping station in the Elbe landscape

Project Summary

In the “waterworks Falkensteiner Ufer” construction project, the architects placed great emphasis on combining the existing structure with contemporary architecture and high-quality materials.

Particular attention was paid to the flooring. A cement-based coloured floor coating weber.floor 4650 was used as the finished surface layer to give the spacious designer loft in the former pump station an elegant, minimalist and seamless foundation. Integrated wooden floorboards form square units that visually separate the various living spaces within the historic building.
