Representative façade for ceramics exhibition

An ETICS façade with large-format porcelain stoneware tiles combines functionality and aesthetics. For the CERAM.store, the new competence centre for new construction, renovation and modernisation in Kaarst, the team from Fliesen Hüning chose this design variant with both structural and aesthetic advantages: There are no visible fasteners such as screws or frames. The tiles are bonded to the mineral-insulated façade. This makes the overall system significantly slimmer than curtain wall façades. The premium tiles, manufactured by Laminam, measure 2.10 x 1.10 metres and are 6.5 mm thick, making the design unique in Germany.
