Direct application of lime plaster on concrete

Thick-layer plastering of concrete surfaces is often not necessary due to their great evenness. The use of gypsum plaster can also time and again lead to considerable damage. Lime textured plaster, applied in a thin layer, allows plastering with reduced tension in an easy and reliable manner. The choice of spray plaster, applied with the help of special spraying equipment, is also an attractive and economically interesting option, especially on concrete ceilings.

Simple & safe to the goal

  1. Application

    1. In case of thin precast concrete panels close the joints with a gypsum bonding plaster .

  2. 2. All concrete surfaces are primed with the isolating primer weber.prim 404 .

  3. 3. After drying of the primer the textured lime render/plaster weber.cal 286 is applied in a thickness of approx. 3 mm. After sufficient drying (at least 1 day) apply weber.cal 286 as topcoat and smooth with a fine or a coarse sponge float, depending on the required texture. Alternative: the spray render weber.pas spectra can be applied indoors with an appropriate spray machine (for ex Strobel).
