Freiburg State Education Authority
During the Whitsun holidays in 2009, the school authorities' three previous administrative locations – at the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and Emmendingen district offices, and the Eschholzstraße offices in Freiburg – closed. As part of the administrative reform, the newly established Freiburg State Education Authority was consolidated into a single administrative building.

Our performance: A total of 5,000 m² of flooring was levelled and completed in several stages. Using Weber Maxit silo and machinery technology, a team of just four workers levelled one section on the second floor within just three hours. The material was mixed outside the building and pumped through a 60-metre-long hose to a height of 10 metres. The applied smoothing layer was 2–3 mm thick.
The silo technology operates as a closed system and is therefore dust-free. With the duo-mix system, bagged products can be mixed outside and pumped directly into the building for smaller areas. Noise and dust on the construction site are not an issue for weber.floor.
Kay Schippek says that both the client and the architect were visibly impressed.
The contractor plans to continue using the technology to ensure projects are completed quickly and cost-effectively.
