Substrate leveling in shipbuilding in record time
With no dust, an autonomous site supply and the ability to pump over long distances and at great heights, the Weber PumpTruck provides a solid foundation — even on the high seas.
Project Summary
The flooring on ships is subject to extreme loads caused by structural deformation, vibrations and shocks. This requires specialised substrates that can withstand these demanding conditions. During the yacht project at the LÜRSSEN PEENE shipyard in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the Stoltz Fußbodenbau team demonstrated that the Weber PumpTruck is not only a reliable solution for installing these substrates, but also the fastest and most cost-effective.
The Weber PumpTruck is a mobile silo that enables high-quality floor constructions to be produced quickly and efficiently. With an area output of 100 to 1,500 m² per hour, large areas can be completed in just a few hours. Requiring minimal space, it is equipped with an onboard power and water supply and ensures consistent material quality right up to the installation site. In this project, the Stoltz team pumped and installed 26 tonnes of weber.floor 4660 Marine Elastic levelling compound with a layer thickness of 25 mm, directly to the application site via a hose in just three hours.
