Waterproofing of ETICS with weber Anschlussdicht

weber Anschlussdicht is a 2-component highly flexible and weather-independent drying universal waterproofing. We recommend executing the waterproofing of socket parts within ETICS with weber Anschlussdicht.

Simple & safe to the goal

  1. Substrate preparation

The substrate must be frost-free, solid, clean, dry and free of water-repellent substances. Break off edges and protruding parts. Close joints and recesses > 5 mm with the watertight patching mortar weber.tec 933. Round the external angles between the concrete slab and basement walls in groove form beforehand with weber.tec 933.

  2. Primer

After the substrate preparation, apply the deep-penetrating primer weber.prim 400 undiluted.

  3. Honeycombs, mortar pockets and open butt joints (up to 5 mm width) are closed with a full-surface scratch layer consisting of weber Anschlussdicht and silica sand weber.sys Hartquartzmaterial (0.1 - 0.3 mm) in a ratio of 3:1 parts by volume, using a flat trowel.

  4. Waterproofing

Execute the waterproofing of the main surfaces in at least 2 layers. They should be applied as soon as possible, when the previous one can be no longer damaged. In cases of ground damp and non-pressure water (W1-E) both layers can be applied "wet-in-wet".

  5. weber Anschlussdicht is also ideal for waterproofing at the base of floor-level windows and doors.

  6. The window/door profile is completely sealed and connected to the surrounding socket waterproofing.

  7. Insert a stripe of the watertight foil weber.sys 982 in the transition areas to the frame and to the socket part.

  8. Finished sealed detail point.

  9. The socket waterproofing with weber Anschlussdicht is forwarded up to approx. 5 cm above ground level and can be painted with a facade paint, like weber.ton 411 AquaBalance.
