Waterproofing of flush-floor windows

Flush-floor windows must be carefully waterproofed with the 2-comp. reactive and quick-setting waterproofing coating weber.tec Superflex D 24 and the watertight self-bonding foil weber.sys 982 SK.

The prerequisite for a secure building waterproofing and durability is the professionally correct execution of the transitions to the waterproofing of the facade socket part.

Simple & safe to the goal

  1. 1. After substrate preparation, apply the all-purpose primer weber.prim 900 on the forepart of the concrete slab and on the slab itself in the area of the upstanding wall components. Afterwards a scratch layer of weber.tec Superflex D 24 is applied. After its drying the waterproofing under the walls is carried out in 2 layers.

  2. 2. Create a recess on the facing shell of the facade at the window connection.

  3. 3. Grind the plastic door frame.

  4. 4. The foil weber.sys 982 SK is first fixed and bonded with the adhesive strip. The foil is then folded up. The socket profile is waterproofed with weber.tec Superflex D 24.

  5. 5. The foil is embedded "wet-in-wet" in the first waterproofing layer.

  6. 6. As soon as the first waterproofing layer can no longer be damaged, the second layer of weber.tec Superflex D 24 is applied. The entire waterproofing system is fed around the ends of the window profile and connected to the waterproofing of the back-up masonry.

  7. 7. Completely waterproofed floor/wall connection, including flush-floor window profile.

  8. 8. After completion of waterproofing the facing shell of the façade is brought up to the window profile.
