Self-levelling and watertight floor compound
Self-levelling, water-impermeable and quick-setting floor compound for thicknesses 5 mm - 30 mm
Colours:
cement grey
Water demand:
6.0 liters / 25 kg
Storage:
The product can be stored for up to 9 months in its original unopened packaging if kept dry and protected from moisture.
Fields of application
weber.tec 932 is used for waterproofing and levelling floors, in particular old basement floors.
For use as bonded system on concrete, tamped concrete, cement screed, well-bonded brick floors with fixed joints.
Due to its time-saving application and its quick and slow stress setting the product is ideal for renovation works under time pressure.
It forms an even, smooth and watertight surface which can be left without covering; it is resistant as wear layer withstanding light mechanical loads (typical residential uses).
For use indoors.
Main features
- CE marking: CT – C30 – F7 – AR2
- water-impermeable
- self-levelling
- quick-setting
- compliant with the WTA tests for internal waterproofing systems (WTA = International Association for Science and Technology of Building Maintenance and Monuments Preservation)
- radon gas-tight in combination with weber.tec Superflex D 24
- high abrasion resistance (AR 2.0); can be used as wear layer without covering
- pressure-resistant
- very low stress when hardening
- suitable as a bonded system (i.e. with primer)
- for height compensation 5 mm - 30 mm
- very economical
- non-combustible: reaction to fire A2 fl -s1
General notes
- Before application, round the external angles between the concrete slab and basement walls in groove form beforehand. Apply first a bonding layer of the watertight mortar weber.tec 933 mixed in brush consistency along the angles. Afterwards apply the mortar as groove mortar mixed in trowel consistency in a radius of approx. 5 cm on the fresh bondcoat, using the preformed rounded trowel “big size” (250 x 150 mm) weber.sys Hohlkehlenschlitten. After drying, apply weber.tec 932 in the appropriate layer thickness.
- After priming, apply a layer of the 2-comp. reactive thick and quick-setting waterproofing coating weber.tec Superflex D 24 on the wall/floor connection area and also on the floor along the walls in a width of approx. 20 cm.
- As far as no fillet has been installed at the wall/floor connection, all walls and upstands (pillars, columns, etc.) within the floor should be separated from the floor construction with the self-bonding 8-mm thick acoustic insulation strip weber.floor 4960; it must reach downwards from the substrate up to the upper edge of the final covering.
- Assess the levelling requirements beforehand; determine slope, high and low points.
- Minimum thickness of weber.tec 932 on all allowed substrates: ≥ 5 mm, except on well-bonded brick floors with fixed joints (≥ 15 mm).
- Take over existing movement joints.
- In case of doubt regarding application, substrate or special structural features, request technical advice.
- Do not add any foreign substances during mixing and application
Special notes
- Limits of use: only use indoors and as a bonded system. Do not use as a floating structure.
- Before application, the water load acting on the substrate must be determined.
- A water load > 0.1 bar must be excluded.
- If necessary, supplementary measures, such as application of an interior waterproofing system on the whole wall areas, a damp-proof render system or a horizontal barrier against rising damp may be necessary.
- Comply with national standards and/or guidelines (for ex. WTA leaflets) relating to internal waterproofing; if not issued and if necessary, request advice
- Also comply with the guidelines governing the application of floor levelling compounds.
- After hardening of the surface, a slight colour design cannot be excluded.
- In case of use of vapour-retardant or vapour-tight floor coverings, e.g. ceramic tiles on top of weber.tec 932, weber.tec Superflex D 24 must applied prior to installation of weber.tec 932.
- After complete drying of the waterproofing coating (max. 1 hour) apply weber.tec 932 on top of weber.tec Superflex D 24; a primer is not necessary.
