Storage:
The product can be stored for up to 12 months in its original unopened packaging, if stored dry and protected from moisture. Frost destroys the liquid component. After thawing it is not allowed to be used.

Fields of application

weber.therm style 2 K is an adhesive mortar based on innovative mortar technology. It enables the safe and durable installation of safety glass panels on the bonding and reinforcing mortar weber.therm 301 within the Etics (external thermal insulation composite system) weber.therm style Glas.
Thanks to its reactive setting, the special bonding mortar is ideal for outdoor works.
For use outdoors.

General notes

• Comply with the national standards and/or guidelines, for ex. DIN 18157 “Execution of tilings and coverings” and the leaflets of ZDB (Central Association of German Construction Industry); if not issued and if necessary, request technical advice.
• Only install dry glass panels (no condensation or water drops on their surface).
• All characteristics mentioned in this data sheet are given for a temperature of +20 °C, without draft and a relative rate of humidity of 50%.
• Protect the work from moisture until the product has set completely.

Special notes

• As a rule, weber.therm style 2 K must be laid on top of the bonding and reinforcing mortar weber.therm 301.
• Check the evenness of the substrate; if necessary, apply a suitable levelling compound to achieve optimum evenness before laying weber.therm 301.
• weber.therm style 2 K can be used to compensate for unevethe nness of weber.therm 301 up to a maximum of 3 mm.
• Before starting to install the glass panels, the dimensional deviations of the second layer of weber.therm 301 must be less than 1 mm.
• Protect the facade from direct sunshine by suitable measures during the works.
• For large elements, lifting aids facilitate the installation and support structures or wedges facilitate the exact positioning.
