Selection of the right machine technology according to building project

Almost all weber.floor levelling compounds are suitable for professional mixing and conveying technology. At the same time, these products are characterized by particularly easy processing. The right choice of mixing and conveying technology depends on the construction site conditions and the layer thickness. Area size, transport routes within the construction site, space conditions and delivery height to the installation site are the most important selection criteria. In combination with fast-drying floor systems, time and thus costs can be saved, especially in renovation and refurbishment.

Simple & safe to the goal

  1. Surface 1 - 50 m²

    1. The required material for small areas up to 50 m2 is usually mixed by hand with a stirrer in a mixing container. The stirring attachment should be suitable for levelling compounds (e.g weber.sys Rührpaddel no. 3) and should not mix in too much air. For larger areas, work with several mixing containers in parallel lanes to avoid marks/defects at the surface.

  2. 2. In the case of highly polymer-modified levelling compounds, the appropriate water amount is first added to the mixing container. Pour the powder content of the bag into the water. After 2 minutes of mixing, allow maturing for approx. 1 minute and mix again. Then pour the mixed material in lanes onto the floor and spread it with the flat rake with 2 adjustable pins weber Bodenverlaufsrakel. If necessary, de-aerate with a spiked roller.

  3. 3.  The personnel requirement is 1 to 2 persons who can mix and install approx. 200 to 400 kg of bagged material per hour. All that is needed is a normal 220 V socket and a water connection (local power supply).

  4. Surface 50 – 1,000 m², > 4 mm layer thickness

    1. The material for areas up to 1,000 m2 is economically mixed with the m-tec duo-mix 2000 and conveyed to the installation site. Conveying distances of up to 100 m and heights of up to 20 m are possible without any problems. The machine is fed with bagged materials.

  5. 2. The correct water amount is determined regularly via the slump test and documented in the job site log. The mixed material is pumped onto the floor in lanes at the job site and smoothed with the notched blade scraper weber ABS Schwedenrakel. For layer thicknesses < 5 mm, additional finishing can be carried out with a spiked roller.

  6. 3. The staff requirement is 3 to 4 persons for mixing and installing up to 4,000 kg of bagged material per hour. A 380 V high-voltage current with 32 A fuse protection and a 3/4“ water connection with a pressure of at least 5 bar must be available on the job site. The hose length must be at least 40 meters for achieving the best processing properties.

  7. Surface 500 – 5,000 m²

    1. The material for large areas > 1,000 m2 is supplied very economically with the SMP silo mixing pump or the Pumptruck. Delivery distances of up to 120 m and heights of up to 30 m are possible. This mixing technology also works as follows: the water is no longer sprayed onto the material, but the material is dosed into a water bath and mixed.

  8. 2. The correct water amount is determined regularly via the slump test and documented in the construction site log. The mixed material is pumped onto the floor in lanes and smoothed down with an appropriate notched blade scraper. For layer thicknesses < 5 mm, additional finishing can be done with a spiked roller.

  9. 3. The staff requirement is 3 to 4 persons for mixing and laying up to 8,000 kg of loose material per hour. A 380 V high-voltage current with 32 A fuse protection and a 3/4“ water connection with a pressure of at least 5 bar must be available on the job site. Furthermore, a suitable area for the silo storage must be available.

  10. Surface 50 – 1,000 m², 1 - 10 mm layer thickness

The machine "weber bee" ("weber biene") is undemanding: all it needs is 230 V current and a standard water connection. The system is optimally matched to the material used and is ready for use after only 15 minutes of assembly.

  11. 2. The "weber bee" (weber.biene) makes the work easier. It is controlled by remote control, always mixes the material perfectly and pumps it directly to the job site. Only two workers can do the whole placement of the pumped material via hose and the final finishing by using an appropriate rake without tiring and while standing.

  12. 3. Thanks to "weber bee", levelling work is completed almost twice as fast as by hand. The compact and powerful machine technology conveys over also several floors and through long corridors. Profitability increases even on small construction sites: More turnover with every hour of work.

    Performance approx. 800 kg/hour.
