Waterproofing coatings, topcoats and sealers on balconies, terraces and access galleries protect the building structure from harmful weathering conditions in the long term; in addition, they allow an optical nice design. Such materials are subject to strong external influences, like frost, heat and mechanical loads. The 1-component Weber balcony waterproofing coatings and sealers based on polyurethane and water-borne dispersion fulfill these high demands for use in new buildings and for renovation projects.

The Weber balcony waterproofing system offers individual solutions for each job site. The solutions for waterproofing and for wear layer are optimally adapted to the respective requirements in an optimal way.

As a particularly eco-friendly version, Weber also offers a water-based waterproofing system - the weber balcony system Aqua.

Furthermore, the range offers a new type of solution with one product combining two functions: a balcony coating and a walkable, UV-resistant sealer in one product (it is called weber balcony system 2-in-1). The well-tried weber balcony system classic (with the 2-comp. transparent EP primer weber.prim EP 2 K and the 1-comp. solvent-based PUR waterproofing coating weber.dry PUR seal completes the range.

All three pre-said products have in common a high quality, abrasion- and UV resistance as well as an enormous durability.

Our waterproofing coatings weber.dry PUR seal (solvent-based PU) and weber.dry PUR seal aqua (water-based PU) are certified by an ETAG and fulfill the high requirements of ETAG005 for roof waterproofing coatings.

Solvent-free waterproofing system for balconies and access galleries

The water-based waterproofing system is ideal for balconies and terraces of any size. It is applied by roller, trowel or spray equipment. Especially, the use of airless technology is very time-saving, in particular in the case of large surfaces. The entire system can be simply and easily processed.

It consists of a primer, a cold-applied liquid high flexible and water-impermeable membrane and a pigmented UV- and abrasion-resistant walkable sealer. As possibilities for design finish, coloured PVC chips or coloured quartz stones (so-called "stone carpets") complete the robust system.

The waterproofing system is very easy to apply, durable and highly resistant. Thanks to the system weber.dry PUR coat traffic application fields with strong pedestrian traffic (for ex. access galleries, walkways etc.) are possible. The highly abrasion-resistant topcoat weber.dry PUR coat traffic can also be used in case of medium vehicular traffic (for ex. private car garages etc.).

The waterproofing system is characterized by an easy application, by using a spray gun, a trowel or a roller, which allows quick work. After application, the robust system is also very low-maintenance. Also, years of weathering with wide changes of temperatures have no detrimental effect on the system. Furthermore, the system is certified by a European Technical Assessment (ETAG) with the W3 classification, meaning that its expected working life is 25 years.

2-in-1 coating system for balconies and access galleries

The processing of the balcony coating and sealing system weber.dry PUR balcony is quite easy. Its advantage: it is a combined coating and sealing system with one unique product. For this reason, a complete working step is eliminated. The surface can be used directly for pedestrian traffic, very resistant and durable. Its application fields are all locations with pedestrian traffic (for. ex. balconies, access galleries, other walkways etc.).

Quick processing is performed thanks to its application by spray device, trowel or roller. Also, its maintenance is very simple. The system also withstands extreme climate conditions with large temperature variations. Like also the other weber.dry PUR systems, the balcony coating system weber.dry PUR balkon can receive a final design with coloured chips (weber.floor 4919) or quartz stones.
